Canon EOS 10D 24-85 @ 35 f4.5 30sec.
Shot last night while out trying to get lightning photos at a local lake. The light on the plant (yucca?) in the fore groung is from a street lamp. The plant is a little soft, but I like the background beter than others I shot.

You've got a great looking sky there, lightening or not. The yucca tree bothers me because it grabs your attention the minute you look at the photo. I like the right hand lower half the the photo. You have the nice sky and the shapes of the cactus on the horizon.

Love the light and the rays coming out; the shapes and cactus on the horizon are wonderful although I might like just a bit more of the ground included. I'm ambivalent about the yucca. The bright spots (stars, moon, mars?) are distracting and I would clone them out.

An awesome sunset! I too think that the photo would be better without the Yucca. Also, either taking two exposures or coloring Mars after the fact woulod render the scene a bit ,more realistic since Mars has a strong orange cast to it.
