Some of you have already seen this image, which I obtained during my trip to Arizona last April. Storm clouds were rolling in on this particular afternoon, much to my delight :) I've been trying a bit of tinting with b&w images lately, and have given a touch of sepia to this one. IMO it works well with desert and other "dry" scenes.

I love a great B&W (sepia...whatever), and this one is no exception! Great range of tones all the way across the board, great intensity.

Sepia really works with this. When I used to do my own black and white work I was a big fan of Agfa Portriga Rapid paper. This reminds me of it.

Very cool - almost looks like you processed it in DR1. I really like this one.

Indeed, but I certainly don't mind seeing it again. Very effective monochrome image with the sky mimicking the canyon below.

One of the most interesting images of the GC that I have seen.

Great image! This is one of the best Canyon images I've ever seen!

The toning is not to my taste - I somehow like storm clouds dark grey rahter than brownish.

B&W (sepia) works very well here and really accentuates the contrast of the clouds and canyon. What I find most amusing though is your range from B&W here to the wildly saturated colors of some of your flowers. Interesting contrast!

Nicely done, Danny...the canyons and clouds almost look like mirror images in this b&w rendition.
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.
