Thanks to Dan I now have an excellent scan of this image.
Last rays of sunlight bid goodnight to Mt. Timpanogos - the second highest peak in the Wasatch range. The long stalks are monument plants, covered in little purple and green flowers (in the Imacon scan you can see each and every one of them). I hiked the remaining 7 miles or so to the trailhead by headlamp and moonlight, sometimes scaring some nocturnal critter, sometimes scared by one myself, and got home long past midnight. How some people can live without such beauty close by is beyond me.

A gorgeous photo of this spot! A little dodging at the top of the mountain would make the GND un-noticeable.

Simply unreal, Guy! Wonderful perspective and excellent composition.
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.

Great in every way Guy! A classic! Very dynamic use of the wide angle! Agree with EJ on some dodging.

Nicely seen and nicely composed. Wildflowers and aggresive slope of hill contrast nicely with distint peak. Only suggestion is burning in that small spot on the upper left rock.

I remember your original post of this. The difference in scans is amazing. The photo really sings. Beautiful.

Great composition, Guy. I agree about the ND being noticeable. It appears to be a 'hard' grad. Perhaps a 'soft' one would have worked a tad better.

another wonderful shot, Guy. I like what you're showing us here. The upper right part where the foreground and background merge is the part I'd try to bring out a bit more.

I really like this comp - not a bad subject either ;) - I agree with a bit of burning at the upper right.

Excellent, but the sky is a little too saturated and looks unreal.
