Motif - Water Texture

Rather than the smooth look, I tried to capture the noise which was incredible. Much detail lost in th JPEG. Yellowstone 2003 in a very dark canyon. 10D iso 200 100-400IS@f6.7 1/750 Did it work?

I can hear the water roaring. Wish for some rock detail but thats OK.

Good texture shot - I would prefer more even lighting.

We were deep in a canyon. It would have taken 30'x30' reflectors to even the lighting. As is, a lot of PS curve adjustments from the original. My question still is, can you hear the noise? If not, this didn't work.
