Red canyons cut into the plateau somewhere south west of Page AZ.

I am not sure where this is but I know I would not like to get lost in this maze

A very interesting perspective of this area. I am just amazed by how vast and uninhabited much of the South West is.

Ken,
Whenever I fly, I try to get a clean window seat and have a camera in my hand. I have missed some amazing shots, like one five minutes before this shot where Page AZ, Lake Powell, the Horshoe and Antelope Valley were all inview. Never again. I want to take that flight again just to get that shot. Wish me luck. The shot of Sedona/Redrock area in "Mankind" took 6 years after I saw it the first time. I was going on business back and forth. Only one time was it clear. The the business flights stopped. I was frustrated. That shot is not the best I have seen, just the best I shot.
Laura,
It is amazing how vast some areas are. This and the shot in "humankind" were from the same trip. One going, the other returning.

Alan Briot woud say "where's the foreground object to lead into the spectacular background?" :D Really nice shot from above where normally eveything is mush.
