Tioga pass, eastern portal, CA
(C) 2003, Anders Landin
Canon 10D, EF24/2.8, ISO100, f/16, {0.3s, 1/13} combo exposure

Taken at the eastern entrance to Tioga pass which leads over the Sierra Nevadas through Yosemite NP. This is a digital combination of two exposures to handle the contrast range from the shade in the foreground to the sunlit peaks.

Please hammer on! Reposts welcome.

Thanks for looking,

Anders

Beautiful! The digital combination technique works great. I'll bet this would look wonderful printed large.

Great composite. Composition is nice. I like the flowers leading into the frame.

This is beautiful! I would love to see this area at sunrise. The detailed layers really add to the Californian feel to me.

Very nicely done and an excellent blend - a beautiful scene too. I think I might have burned the mountains about 10%

Quite impressive by my eye. The rabbit brush (?) in the LLC really ad to the depth and are a pleast touch to any already good composition.
