Ken,

Were you and Danny shooting side by side ??? I love the detail in your shot. Especially the curling bark on the left tree of the forking trees. Very cool. BTW I left you a private message.

It looks like Ken was to Danny's left based on the different positions of the trees!! It is interesting how the birch trunks further in the woods are darker - you must have been on the edge of a meadow or other opening. For your version Ken, I might try to brighten up the darker trunks just a bit (not too much).

Nice light, interesting colors. The difference in brightness between the trunks is a tad distracting.

Thats how it pretty much looks on the tranny. We were standing in a road so the FG birches got some light and the ones behind are in more shadow.

Nice details. I like the peeling tree trunks.

Nice, Ken, but I like the first one better.

I really like both of your birch photos, Ken. As a matter of fact I am a sucker for this type of shot. The bark on the three prominent trees in this one seem just a little too bright to me and the two on the right really pull my eye to that side. Still, nice.
