Here's the first (and so far, only) image I've scanned from the Michigan UP trip last week. Since I leave for 8 days in the Smokies on Saturday morning, it will be awhile before I get more posted.

We came across a beautiful stand of white birches in Hiawatha NF. If the main group of white trees here looks familiar, that's because it's also the star of Ken's version :D

Hey I recognize those trees too!!! They star in a few of my own images :D I really like the panoramic view of this stand. Thank you again for organizing a fantastic trip!

Danny,

Very nice. I love the contrst between the yellow/orange leaves and the stark white trunks.

Very nice colors! I might have considered cropping just a bit at either end to lose the greens to the left and the dark trunk to the right, but nice as is too.

Very pretty, Danny. I really need to make it up to the UP. I also really like the contrast between the white birch and the colorful leaves.
