Motif: Lone Ponderosa in lava field

I liked this lonesome Ponderosa Pine in the lava fields near Sunset Crater in AZ. I borrowed my wife's digital P&S since I wasn't carrying my own camera. The detail in this image required great compression to get the file size small enough to post. Hope it hasn't lost too much

Olympus C-740 handheld.

I love it - funny enough, I had a sunset crater shot lined up for tonight's post as well - I think I still will as it is very different from yours.

I like this a lot1 I think would be a bit better if there wasn't the extra vegetation at the top of the frame, though.

I'd like to see this in a larger size.
