Hey Ken,

When you said the colors were great in the UP, I hope this isn't all you were talking about. Nice sunrise shot! - the band of fog does a nice job of breaking up the dark hills and their reflection. One on hand, the foreground ridge give a good sense of location, but it also makes for a dark corner.

Ken, I spent quite a bit of time last night working on combining a couple of exposures I made from this spot at the same time. Maybe I'll get around to posting it one of these days.

Re this shot, I'm trying to decide if there's too much silhouette here. There wasn't much you could do about it, in any event. I think what you have here represents a good compromise and I very much like the inclusion of the trees in front of the lake reflection.

Ken, those colors are super! I like the silhouettes in both the foreground and middle, and that layer of fog is a great bonus.
