I am surprised not to see an Aurora image posted yet as it was bright as can be in Oregon and I saw images from Arizona.
I was shooting a widefield NGC 7023 (Iris Nebula) with RGB filters and a
600mm scope and astro camera last night looking North.
This is the night Sky gradient from a 4 hour (300 sec. images) stack with RGB filters.
It can be easily removed with software but I left it for fun in this one.
The Iris nebula is the Blue patch on the left side.

Pretty cool, Dan, unfortunately it was cloudy here most of the time.

Neat night sky again.
I got some aurora early Saturday morning.
Still on the card.
One of the very few times that I saw red and violet colors....We mostly get just green.
Had only a half an hour before the clouds moved in.

Unfortunately I was at a bike race (as a participant) so I didn't have camera gear with me. Cool shot!
