Yesterday, on my way to the northern Adirondacks to photograph birds, I came across this sunrise over Indian Lake. I had already driven an hour and a half in the dark so this was a welcome site on my way north. i didn't think I would have enough time to mess around getting out pano gear from the car trunk and align it before the golden light was gone.  I simply aligned it hand held as best I could. It was a great start to a nice day.

Just gorgeous!! I'd want to just stay there! What a stupendous start to the day. It would make a great mural on a wall, so someone could feel like they could just walk right in there. (me , for instance) ;) I hope you found your birds too.

The larger view is a must for this one. What a gorgeous scene with amazing light and the most wonderful feeling of peace and tranquility. I Love it, Warren!
