Daintree River

Been quite a few years since I posted on the landscape forum.  Was up in Far North Queensland last month and did the early morning birding trip on the Daintree River, at this point it is tidal freshwater and is well known for the presence of saltwater crocodiles.

Handheld grab shot from the boat, I had the wide angle lens on another body ready to grab shots as they came up.  Water was completely glassed out that morning.

Love the painterly reflection. The overall composition feels a bit heavy on the left by doubling up the weight of that side with more land and being in shade.

It looks like a beautiful place to be - apart from the crocs! and such calm water.

You could almost turn this upside down for the same view! Lovely placid scene.
