Last week my wife and I spent a few days in Death Valley CA. One of our favorite spots was the Mesquite Dunes. Here is a shot I made on the hike back to the car after exploring the dunes. The curves of sand, the ripples in the sand, along with the small bush and, of course, the glow of the very early morning sun caught my attention.
