I am intrigued by the view of the 3D group of running figures under the end of the trunk, Dan! Amazing image, as always and the added bonus of several little cameos within the overall frame. The different colour palette is beautiful in its own right.

Likw Carol, I see all kinds of little figures in this. Amazing depth and color! It could be a wonderful abstract painting too. I could look at this for a long time, , checking out all the details. Just remarkable!

And the hits keep coming. If I didn't live 4 hours from dark skies, I think I'd get into this seriously as you have.

I don't know where you live, but I've seen amazing work done in light-polluted skies shooting narrowband.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments..
EJ, I take these in downtown Portland Oregon in the backyard of a small urban lot.
Phoenix or Tucson has to be the same.
Radian Quad filter that costs $999 turns urban dwellings into Bortle 1.
My whole setup is less than $5000. Less than a new Mirrorless camera.
You have a lot more clear nights than I do.
