Image
Deep space star forming Nebula, IC 1396, 2400 light years away.
Solar wind in the young star formation in the center blew the hole in the Nebula.
The "Elephants Trunk" is the small dark nebula shape in the lower center.
De- Starred mostly with Pixinsight/Starnet+, leaving the Nebula and star forming gas.
Mod D610, 420mm, 3 1/2 hours image time (70-3 minute light frames)
Stacked in Astropixel, PP in Pixinsight, Capture one.

Your astro photographs, including this one, are amazing.

It's hard to comprehend all the work and talent needed to create these images.
