Nearest visible Star cluster to Earth, the famous Messier 45, famous in culture folklore throughout the world.
Imaged Oct. 1 at Prineville reservoir, Oregon, Bortle 2
About 2 hour of image time
Nikon D610 (modified), 300 f2.8 w 1.4 tc on EQM mount.
PP in Asropixel, Capture one and Affinity Photo.

Gorgeous image Dan, how did you get the cross shape on the stars? Software or did you put monofilament line across the front of the lens. Btw, did you know Subaru's symbol on their cars is Pleides?
