This is a shot of Arrowheads in the mist on a very calm cool morning.  I was on my way to a Fall foliage shoot a couple of years ago and along the way I noticed this as I drove by and stopped and took a few shots.  I later turned it into a black and white as I felt it suited the overall mood.

** Note:  I inadvertently did not submit it large enough to come through with as much resolution as is normally the case.  Still worth clicking.

Definitely worth a click, the black surround shows the frame off beautifully. A very striking abstract with a lovely minimalist quality that I find very appealing, Warren. A beautiful image and I love the tranquil mood it conveys.

So lovely- almost an abstract-the mood is wonderful-I especially like the subtle graduation of grey tones . Looks like and oriental brush painting.

Yes it displays beautifully against the darker surround.
Minimalist and moody.

I like the minimalism of it. I think a cuve that makes the gray much brighter would give this even more impact.

I love the simplicity and all the interest of the shapes that make for cool reflections!
