Nikon D810, Zeiss 25mm F2.0
ISO 200, 1/200s, F10.0,  Tripod

This is a panoramic that I shot several years ago in my home county. The wife of a colleague of mine has been ill for several years and when she saw this image she titled it "Hope", hence the name. This was a departing storm that created the rainbow and was being replaced by puffy white clouds.

My apologies for not commenting on some of your wonderful images since I submitted my last one about a week ago. I've been busy, with my brothers, assisting my (elderly) Mom and Stepfather until some home healthcare services become available. This will probably continue for another week or so. In the meantime, I'll enjoy your work remotely.

This is so uplifting! We surely need "hope" in these troubled times- you beautiful rainbow and lovely scene remind me that there is still beauty and serenity in parts of this world.

I hope things work out well for your family- hard times indeed. No apologies needed.

Awesome, nice warm sun, nice rainbow and reflection...definitely a hopeful image.
Minor technical nit...how I wish that left side tree branch wasn't intruding

Take your time to get things sorted out...hope all goes well!

Looks like a special piece of wilderness. Capturing the rainbow with a reflection is a bonus. Very nice!
