Wish this virga would hit the ground rather than just evaporate. But then it would be rain.

I had to look this one up!! (What's a "Virga?" Wonderful example of this unusual event, which I have never seen. It makes a great shape, almost abstract. It rather looks like a giant mushroom...though that may have negative connotations...
In any case I love looking at this-it is very enegrizing for some reason.

Very interesting meteorological image. Your choice of black and white makes the clouds and virga stand out very well. Beautiful.

Thanks.  Actually the out of the camera JPEG was minimally processed in DxO PL and the B&W conversion was done with Nik Silver Efex.
