A couple of years ago I was in my car waiting out a thunderstorm that was quickly coming to an end.  I saw a pool of water under some mature hemlock trees dripping water into the pool that made it appear as if it was still raining.  The concentric rings interested me enough to quickly change lenses and shoot a series of shots of which this one was my favorite.

This is a bit out of my comfort zone for images but it was  hypnotizing to watch as it occurred.  As a side note this is not a black and white shot.  This is the original "color" as it appeared.

This is a must click for full effect.

A beautiful almost abstract view of these circles in the water.

I really like the abstract quality and am glad there was not much color so the many beautiful circles are emphasized.

I can see why you were enjoying this- it looks like these were drawn with a compass. Nicely designed and well seen.

Very cool concept. A unique photo. You could have all sorts of fun varying the color on this one.
