One last image from Prineville dark sky park imaged May 16, 2021.
Scorpius, one of the constellations of the Zodiac named by Greek astronomer Ptolemy in the second century.
The Rho Ophiuchi star forming complex in the center which I posted in a 300mm version.
Major stars are Antares, the bright yellow star, Acrab, Dshubba and Pi Scorpii are the "claw" stars on the right.
Huge Dust cloud fingers coming in on the left are from Milky way.
31 light frames. About 90 minutes imaging with Rokinon 135 f2 @ f2.8 and Nikon D610 modified (HA filter) camera.
PP in Astropixel, Capture one and Affinity.

Love this one Dan...or did I say that about the last one too? ;) Well, they are all amazing. But I like the way this one is sort of like fireworks. So glowing and magical.
