Better to View Here
This must have been a mighty massive tree that fell. Imagine the Dinosaurs feeding on the leaves; at least I do. Its alone so I can only imagine what happened. How it landed where it did... I purposely centered the log so that it would be the center of attention. Hope it works.
thank you for looking and suggestions.

The link to the larger view is a must as it shows the detail and the log itself much better than the posted version.
It appears that some of it has already crumbled down the slope...and there may be part of another tree on the right side ridge?

Cool find. It is almost overwhelming to think about the natural history that this log has seen.

Interesting to see this-I wonder how long that log has been there! So unusual and dramatic, all by itself.
