Not sure how these look on this site.
My first attempt at Astrophotography, a rather large learning curve...
I blew out M42 nebula below the belt,
Horse head nebula is around the bottom belt star.

D850
Rokinon 135mm f2 @ f4
Star adventure tracker
51-150 sec. light frames
20 dark frames stacked in StarrySkyStacker

Amazing work!
Kudos to you....as many do not know that a LOT of work goes into taking this one image!!!

Dan....did you take bias and flat frames as well?

Also...your thoughts on the sky adventurer tracker please.

Thanks John, I really appreciate the comment.
Yes, a crazy about of work goes into one image but fun stuff and you just really get
out a couple times a month, so planning is a big deal.
I am so new, I just got Star Adventurer 2i Pro which is a $450 tracker and does not take long
to figure out with a few YouTube....
I have used twice and it tracked perfect although I was meticulous setting up and aligning which you have to be
or waste a night in the dark...
I tried to take flat frames and have not figured it out yet as StarrySky would not take mine. It also does not do bias frames either. StarrySkyStacker is the Mac version of beginner stack software, I will probably graduate to others if I keep at this.
May get a telescope, although I think for how often I will get out my DSLR equipment will suffice for awhile.
In the Astro world a D850 is not ideal, low end crop sensor Nikon or Canon are preferred and usually modified. I am not sure why yet?
Processing is the most challenging thing I have ever done and this is way TOO magenta which I am working on.
Color in Astro is all over the place but this is not my ideal, it takes a while to figure out how to get Color.

Wow-what a process. I'm not sure what I'm seeing, but it looks great!

Great image Dan! I love wide-field Astro images, but I have a lot of light pollution in my area, so it's tough to do.
