Nikon D3x, Zeiss 25mm F 2.0
ISO 200, 1/15s, F 6.3, Tripod

This is the alternate vertical that E.J. suggested as a possible alternative from my horizontal image I posted yesterday. I like both but wanted to show this one as E. J. suggested as I had shot this scene both ways when I came upon it about 5 years ago. The light was changing so the colors may be a bit different, but they were taken within about 15 minutes of each other.

Beautiful find and pair of images (V & H). One has to wonder whether the seed giving rise to this fellow sprouted in soil collected on the top of the rock, then sent roots grow down, over the sides of the rock to the ground below. Amazing, however it happened!!
