This was taken on a trip with Jess and Connors on one of the lakes in the interior British Columbia. Photographing loons with the chicks was the goal, but couldn't pass going wide for this opportunity as the sun was rising on the lake. Taken with Canon 5DM3, 24-70 f2.8 II lens.

I can see why you couldn't resist. A gorgeous scene with the loon silhouettes and the rising mist. So serene and peaceful. Brings back kayaking memories....

What a wonderful view!
Stunning silhouettes against the light, with an unforgettable sunset.

Just spectacular Rajan! So many beautiful elements here with the silhouetting and the morning mist.

Love this one! From your photo, I can almost hear the looney calls echoing in the forest! :D
It doesn't matter who you are, but where you are and when you are.
