Northern Foothills of Alberta. I typically avoid complications of branches and all this "stuff" going on in my photos, but I made an exception here and just went with the chaos. Not sure it will work for everyone, or maybe it will?

Somewhere, a long time ago, I once read a title of a photo called "order from chaos". That would be an appropriate title for this as well. Your image works well for me as I think it tells a story about the seasonal environment and tough terrain within which it was taken. Well done.

I'd go along with that.  Tells a good story and works for me.

I don't want to be repetitive, but ADKShoteer expressed the thought perfectly.
I really think it can work.

Yeah...these scenes are tough to get across in a photo...but...they are so typical of much of Alberta's foothills.
I think you have done well in conveying what may seem like "chaos" to us humans....but in reality is "order" to mother nature.

I like this- it tells a familiar story of how dead branches and logs end up in a brook and help to shape it, or even dam it up.
