I posted a similar image from this shoot on either Naturescapes or Naturephotographers.net many years ago. E.J. jumped in with some helpful criticism saying that he did not like the truncated trees. I learned something then from him for which I'm grateful. This image does have some truncated trees but I've decided to post it anyway since I think it's one of my better Yosemite images even if the branches top right and truncated trees are not to everyone's taste. If I live long enough to go back to that park in early spring and am presented a similar view, I'll know better how to compose my image thanks in large part to Mr. Peiker.
