A different angle to what I usually see of this iconic location. I am wondering if you took this shot, brought it into Photoshop, duplicated the background, then selected the Screen blending mode at an opacity of maybe 20 or 30 if this wouldn't really boost this shot. Just an idea :)

i like your comp a lot!
what bothers me a bit is that the shot is very dark. while it definitely feels like a very natural presentation, it is a pity that the beautiful greens are barely visible. EJ's suggestions is definitely a step in the right direction, but i would recommend pushing it even further.

I love this landscape!
I prefer the original version a bit darker because in those light conditions my eye doesn't catch all the tones
and I find it gives me a greater sense of depth by accentuating the panoramic breadth of the landscape.
But it's just my personal taste.  :)
