Autumn midday sun on Braies Lake

The last rays of sunlight illuminate the larch trees in autumnal guise.
It was necessary to be fast to catch the last rays of the sun which very quickly disappeared behind the mountain.
Braies Lake, Dolomiti, Northern Italy

A gorgeous landscape, Mary!  I love the way the evening sunlight is turning the autumn trees to burning gold against the dark mountains, and reflecting in the waters of the lake below.  Beautifully done!
