Thank you.  The original is in excess of 16000 pixels wide vs this image restricted to a 1280 jpg so unfortunately it loses something in the posting.

Good catch of the last of the fall colors,
The dark patches in the upper left, mid and upper right frame?....burning in post?

No. It was simply the way the light fell on the mountains

Wow that's a beauty. Know the area well and love your choice of a pano here. That water looks SO still! Nice drama in the clouds too.
