The Palouse Post-harvest and Post Smoke

Nikon D850, 105mm macro, 1/800 sec at F14. I was able to make it back to Kamiak Butte County Park 2 days after the hazardous smoke had cleared. The fall harvest is almost complete but the fields have yet to be prepared. The shot was taken at 7:30 am and nicely captures the low angle of the sun.

Wow, looks so different than it does in June. If you shot this in RAW, I'd try pulling the white slider back some.

Pulling back the White Slider certainly does make a subtle improvement. Thanks.

I could never have guessed this place could look so totally different at this time of year. As John says-it looks like sand dunes. Very nice capture! Glad the smoke is gone...
