A night at Mount Rainier

Composite of foreground flowers with Mount Rainier.  Blooms were taken during blue hour. Foreground specs: Canon 1Dx with 24-105mm lens at 80mm at f/8 for 1/320 sec and ISO 1600.  Mount Rainier and Milky Way: Canon 1Dx and 14mm lens at f/1.8 for 20 sec. at ISO 5000 all securely mounted on my Induro Tripods GIT404L carbon fiber legs and BHL3S ballhead.

Absolutely love it. A beautiful shot of Shasta and the Milky Way. The Lupine add a nice touch.

Note that the default text entry does not support pasting in HTML formatted text - that is why your description is a mess and almost unreadable. If you want to do that you need to hit the little piece of paper icon on the right side of the icon bar right above the text entry bar prior to pasting the text. this pastes the text while discarding the HTML.

Awesome image!!
The MW is amazing, the light on Rainer is perfect and the f/g lupines have just the right amount of lighting.
THX for the tech details.
Super minor nit...wish for just a tad more room on the left side of the MW.
Additionally, although I can't accurately see from this size image, there appear to be some blending artifacts just above the top of the centre lupines.
