I made this image of Comet NEOWISE last night. This celestial visitor is the first bright comet in 25 years. It should be visible in clear skies through the end of July. The next opportunity for you to see it is the year 8786. Maybe we can get together then to celebrate its return with a glass of wine?
Photo specs- 7D Mark II; 500 F4 1 sec @ F4 ISO 128,000 at about 10:15 PM EDT. Processed in Lightroom and Photoshop.  FYI, I did try an image at ISO 6400 and 2 sec, but the background stars began to trail a bit so I chose this one to add to the other great images of this comet posted here.

I'd love to join you in 8786! ;). (Gotta wonder what the world will be like....). Nice shot with a good view if it's tail.

Nailed it...pretty amazing.
I'm thinking you meant ISO 12,800...not 128,000.
I'm not sure if I will be available in 8786...so...I'll celebrate with some wine tonight...lol

Thanks John.  OOPS!  Yes ISO 12,800.  My "zero finger" got a little aggressive!!  Sorry.
