These breathtaking Japanese maple branches were suspended silently in front of a gentle cascade, the morning dew dripping from the crimson leaves into the water below.

Welcome to NSN, Dean! This is such a pleasing shot with those gorgeous maple leaves in sharp focus against the soft rushing water. a unique and beautiful point of view. The dew drops top it off. Looking forward to more of your work!

Very tranquil and love the contrast between the leaves and water. The leaves are vibrant but not over done.

I am happy that it resonates with you, Alec. Thanks very much! It definitely tested my self-control to keep those leaves in check, lol!

Thank you E.J.!  I always have to restrain myself with reds so they don't get out of gamut for the prints!
I like to get them saturated while still keeping them printable;)

Cheers,

Dean

This is a super shot. The leaves just pop in front of the waterfall that could stand on its own as an image.

Thank you very much Ed! It was dumb luck stumbling across this scene while visiting Vancouver Island. :)

Gorgeous contrast of the leaves of such a warm and intense color and light that contrast with the cold tones of the water in the background.
