Taken this morning 7/11 at 4 AM outside Portland Oregon for fun, thanks to EJ Peiker for the inspiration to get out and photo it.
D800, 420mm (300f2.8 w/ 1.4tc), f4, 2sec., iso1600

This is awesome. Love the orange, vibrant tail against the dark sky. The stars add the special touch.

Very well done. Interesting that in your area it looks almost vertical but her in upstate NY it is more on a 50 degree angle.
