Haven't been out much due to Covid...so...still working on images from last Fall.

A smoky Fall afternoon on Lake Windermere.

Very nice, this type of image is very difficult to do well. Layering and tones are well done.

You had me going for a minute, John! I'm thinking where on earth is this view of Lake Windemere in the Lake District? Then I saw it was B.C.!!

I love the feeling of calm and serenity this lovely image brings.

Can relate to that!   One of my first thoughts were also, "I don't recognise that scene"... LOL

Seems the folks here couldn't come up with their own name...lol

Actually, it was once called Lower Columbia lake
From Wikipedia;
" It was given its current name by G.M. Sproat in 1902 because it resembled Lake Windermere in the English Lake District."

Incidentally, the town on this lake is called "Invermere"

This one has a bit of a doom and gloom feel to it - maybe because that's how I feel being in COVID jail for the last 4 months...
