Wonderful view and light EJ. Only once did that run in 1994. Went from Melbourne to the 12 Apostles. This is quite a wonderful view. TFS

Some of my favorite spots are actually a bit west of the Apostles which have crumbled a lot since you were there 26 years ago.

You will laugh at this, but after some 16 years here at NSN, I have lost my sense of shame and can indulge with some sense of comradship.

On that trip, EJ, I picked up my only speeding ticket. EVER so far.. (to date, LOL).  I decided to cut across country back to Melbourne and barely 30m before a speed zone change, in an unlit street, barely more than a village, I accelerated too early before the next zone.

Blighter nabbed me.  Wrote the ticket out.  Looked at my hire car permit and said don't bother paying as you are going back next day.

Not been back to Aus since.  Just in case!

Other memorable moment was  in Tasmania, in Cradle mountain, where some guys that work there took me for a helicopter ride on the basis of some company spent at the lodge the night before.

Small world.  Be safe

Stunning view- I can almost feel the morning mist. Can't fathom the white spot on the right-hand rock-do you know what it is?

The formation is called Baker's Oven and that is the oven - it is actually an arch and water can come through there when waves hit the other side.
