Canon 5D, Canon 24-105 f/4 @28mm, 1/800 sec., f/8, ISO: 200

Created from eleven vertical exposures captured on August 6, 2009.

My only trip wandering/hiking in Lassen Volcanic NP.

Short, moderate climb to the viewpoint on Brokeoff Mt. I enjoy dramatic skies with lots of cumulus clouds and this mostly fit that bill.

If I ever go back to that park I'll have to climb Lassen and look back at Brokeoff.

Oops! Just noticed the road. I should have put it in the travel gallery - sorry. Please move it at your discretion.

Cool shot, almost looks like a fisheye due to the curved horizon. I think trying some other stitching algorithms could straighten that out. Personal preference would be a crop from the left to eliminate a bit of the bright lower left corner as well as burning that area a bit so that it isn't so bright that it pulls the eye away from the subject of the photo.
