Death Valley has its own surprises and the weather changes are always in question. AS is often said bad weather brings in drama! We reached Eureka dunes with the prospect of good weather and distant clouds rolled in. Time to snap quick and get out. With flat colors - decided to render in B&W.

A fantastic monochrome shot. To me, there is a little too much sky and cropping 1/3 to 1/2 of the space above the mountaintop takes this to the next level compositionally.

EJ, agree with your suggestions - gives the dunes more emphasis and a bit more drama! Will render it so in another copy. THanks and your comments are valuable

Very cool, have to see a larger view to appreciate the scale of those dunes. Excellent.
