I loved this area on the top of the falls.  The edge nearest me just drops off, while you can clearly feel the power of the water as it creates a cauldron of water and spray as it falls off the far side of the 269 foot drop off.  Again, fast shutter was used to capture the feeling of power.  Since there is a lot of foreground and background due to the location in which photographers are confined a pano presentation is best. Please click on image as the standard view does not show all the detail.

Neat presentation of these falls.
At first I didn't realize there was a drop off in the foreground as well!

Like John, I had to study the detail in the larger view to fully appreciate what I was seeing, Ed. The noise must be amazing!
