A scenic view...where is this located?
Please be mindful to not include human elements (trail)...as those images are best suited for the travel and culture gallery

Sorry about the trail being in the picture on this site. I'll try to remember not to include trails in any more landscapes I might post here. Please feel free to move it to the travel gallery.

The image includes part of the Columbia Gorge and the hike is on Dog Mountain on the north side (Washington side) of the gorge. The trail head is about 9 miles east of Stevenson, WA. It's not a beginner's hike although any experienced hiker would probably enjoy it. There's a 2,800' gain in 3 miles to reach the top. It's best hiked (at least from my point of view) in late May or early June when the wildflowers are at their peak.
