I wasn't sure about this image when I took it or when I processed it but something about the simplicity of it speaks to me.  taken at Watkins Glen State Park in New York.  We only had a few hours to spend there and I carried in way too much camera gear but it is a nice hike.

I love the fine detail in the fallen leaves juxtaposed with the blurred moving water. Brilliant idea, Malcolm.

Striking composition and contrasts- the leaves are so bright and sparkly, contrasting with the rushing water. Like this a lot!

I too like the simplicity! I also like the way the darks help the leaves pop as well as the flow of water.
