Dear E.J., please answer the question - while shooting this extraordinary photo, you are:
1. on a lookout on the opposite cliff;
2. landing with a parachute;
3. in free fall, hoping for а soft foliage...

The small size of the water fall emphasizes the grand scale of the scene — it is perfect as is. :)

Great image, I love the Napali coast! I agree on leaving the waterfall as is not only for scale, but gives the viewer a reward for spending some time with your work, as opposed to giving itself away entirely right off the bat.
