Bay of Fires - Tasmania
a7R4, 16-35mm @ 20mm, ISO 100, f/10, 10s
Of the several thousand photos taken on my recent trip through Tasmania, this is one of my very favorite and it almost didn't happen.  I was all packed up heading back to the car to my waiting travel partner as we were both starved since we hadn't eaten in about 12 hours.  I saw this and quickly took the photo not realizing the gem that I had until I got back home to the USA and started going through my photos.

I like this one better than the first bay of fires you posted. The light is great and you got good cover of the lichen on the rocks. It is strange how few people comment on images other than bird images especially when we have top landscape shots like this.

Yeah, sometimes I wonder why I even bother to post them but then again they do get a lot of views, just hardly any comments.

Amazing scene!  The composition, sky and light are beautiful, and the detail and colour of the lichen covered rocks is quite stunning - it makes me think of a colony of resting turtles.

This is one of your images that I could look at for a long time and still love it!  :)

The clouds and light from the sky are so gorgeous, not to mention the spectacular rocks. I can see why you love this- it is spectacular.
