Central Highlands - Tasmania

And now for something completely different... This one is from the central highlands of Tasmania - just a scene along the road we were traveling that needed to be photographed in it's spring colors glory...

I can see the wind running through the image. It is very hard to capture sharp images from our forests as the trees have fine long leaves that move continually. The light and colour are typical for southern spring.

Wow...a must view full size!
Super cool trees/vegetation....really prehistoric in appearance.
There is something captivating about this image...not sure what it is... but I keep wanting to look at it again and again...almost like a painting.

Delicious colors and soft grasses-I can see why it begged to be photographed. Agree with John- something makes me want to keep looking...want to walk right into the picture, perhaps.
