wow what a fascinating composition, is the foreground supportive of the background or the other way around? I'm leaning towards the foreground being the dominant element but regardless ... lovely image E.J. .... note to self, I need to photograph some giant ferns next summer.

Agree with Malcolm. The triangle formed between the two foreground ferns and the waterfall makes for a solid composition. The colors all work together well, too.

Oh to have such a dilemma!  Either could stand alone very well - together they are phenomenal!
