Sandwich Harbour is part of the Namib Naukluft Park. The lagoon, salt pans and the bird sanctuary, which form the Walvis Bay Wetlands, are rightly heralded as the single most important coastal wetlands of Southern Africa.

Instantly reminded me of the syfi movie Dune .... I love the eerie into the wilderness feel to this image and for me the tracks provide a leading line into the image.

Love the mysterious feel of this -swirling sands and an odd feeling of disappearing into space at the top. One wonders what is on the other side. Very nice!
