On our Oregon coast there is the remains of an ancient forest.

I already got Dan's critiques but thought i would run it by you guys to see if you had any.

Love the comp, colors, lighting and frothy blurred water. What is growing on the trees? I’m far from the ocean, so I don’t know much about barnacles, clams, mussels, oysters etc.

love the composition and light quality. Guessing the forest remnants are submerged frequently. Sweet image!

Yes they are frequently submerged.  This particular evening low tide and sunset lined up perfectly.  And having good light was plus which on the Oregon coast is always a crap shoot.

Amazing shot- how unique to see this- I could never imagine trees with barnacles on them in the water like that. Beautiful colors and exposure.

What an amazing sight! I've seen this sort of thing growing on rocks and on the old wooden supports under piers, but this is fascinating. Beautiful image.
