After photographing this waterfall that is said to have the bluest water in Iceland from up high, I decided to climb down and get in the waterfall for this "inside look".  Getting here required a round trip 5 mile hike on a muddy trail, the inbound being done in the dark.

It is a lovely shot. I like the way the flow rate of the various falls have created a slightly different look to each curtain of water. The warm and cold dichotomies top and bottom and interest too.

Spectacular sight, E.J. (And an amazing trip to get it!!). Absolutely gorgeous with those translucent sprays and gorgeous blues. Were you actually standing in the water? How big is a human in this picture?

Further thoughts on this...has to be one of my all-time favorite shots of yours. Read your story in your newsletter- so you WERE sanding in the water!

Stunning, absolutely stunning! I love it.

I'm sure some people don't realise the amount of hard work and dedication you put in to perfecting your art - not to mention the miles of hiking it takes to access some of your chosen sites!

Yup, I'm in the water - found an area where the flow wasn't so strong as to be life threatening :)
